The display for each eye is 1832 x 1920 resolution, which is 50% more pixels than the original Quest. Built using the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 platform and 6GB of RAM, the Quest 2 provides fast performance and next-gen graphics. You can also connect the Quest 2 to your gaming computer with an Oculus Link cable (sold separately) to access PC VR games and experiences. The Quest 2 requires your Facebook account to log in, making it easy to meet up with friends in VR and discover communities around the world.
The redesigned Touch controllers feature improved ergonomics and intuitive controls that translate your gestures, motions, and actions directly into VR. Oculus also optimized the controller tracking for more efficient battery life. There is a built-in IPD (interpupillary distance) adjustment mechanism with three settings, allowing you to adjust the lens position for visual comfort. A spacer for eyeglass wearers is included for a comfortable fit. With cinematic 3D positional audio, you’ll be able to hear in all directions with built-in speakers. You can also share your VR experience by casting directly to a compatible TV or the Oculus mobile app.
